This product was bought from menkind.co.uk and has now been recalled. It has been on sale for 5+ years but is no longer compliant with regulations.
On testing, it was found that the cover of the bulb and bayonet adaptor can be removed by hand- this exposes live parts and therefore exposes the user to electric shock. The product also poses a chemical risk and a risk of choking due to the button battery being accessible to young children. It is possible to place the button battery in the mouth and it may be swallowed, which could cause gastrointestinal tract issues, and alsoit is a choking hazard.
