This product presents with a serious risk of drowning as it was advertised as a life jacket, but was identified as buoyancy/swim aid (which do not provide the same level of protection). Also, the jacket did not meet the minimum buoyancy requirement.
The products were not supplied with the required documentation or markings to demonstrate that they have been adequately conformity assessed. Third-party conformity assessment by a body authorised for PPE is required for those products which protect against more serious risks, the absence of such independent assessment for such a product may increase the risk to the consumer that the product may not perform as expected when relied upon as a buoyancy aid. This product does not meet safety standards.
If you have bought this product stop using it immediately and return it to the distributor for a refund.
