Some batches of this product present with a risk of asphyxiation due to an inconsistency in the size and shape of the teether. Some batches were found to have a larger overall shape as well as wider set feet, resulting in the feet of the teether protruding through the template.
Affected large kangaroo teethers are of a certain shape/size that could press on the back of the throat of a small child who is too young to sit up unaided. This means that it could become impacted in their airway and potentially cause a blockage. Some batches of this product do not meet safety standards.
Description: An orange and yellow rubber teething toy, in the shape of a standing kangaroo and being packaged in a yellow, green and orange box. The ‘large mizzie’ is sold individually or as part of the box set. The ring shaped teether sold as part of the gift set is NOT affected.
