Hire locally-qualified jobseekers at no financial cost
The JobsFest Employer Incentive allows employers to hire locally-qualified jobseekers at no financial cost to work between Monday 3 October and Sunday 27 November 2016.
Employers can get involved at any time before 27 November. The incentive will:
- provide up to eight weeks' wages at minimum wage
- cover Social Security contributions
- give employers an eight-week opportunity to train and test the candidate
- include in-work support from a Back to Work mentor

JobsFest events
As well as the JobsFest Employer Incentive, there are four weeks' of JobsFest events for jobseekers.
They take place between Tuesday 4 October and Thursday 27 October and are all designed to help locally-qualified jobseekers get new skills and fresh inspiration.
