Domestic Assistant

Jersey Cheshire Home is currently seeking a Domestic Assistant. The Domestic Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our physically disabled residents. This position involves performing cleaning duties, ensuring that common areas and resident rooms are tidy and hygienic, and providing support in daily living activities as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organisation of resident areas and common spaces, assisting with laundry services to ensure residents' clothing and linens are clean, supporting residents with daily tasks like meal preparation and dining assistance, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all residents. It is essential to respect and preserve the rights of our residents, including their privacy and dignity.
