Store Person/Driver

The primary purpose of this position is to accurately pick, stage, load and deliver customer orders. The incumbent is to be physically fit, have strong customer service and team playing skills with an eye for detail and be available for shift work where required.

The Store Person / Driver’s Responsibilities

Discharge the incoming stock from the carriers’ vehicles by the use of forklifts and reach trucks

Confirm goods received against supplier delivery documentation, check all is in good order and report any discrepancies to purchasing

Book in goods received, complete the goods in process in the ERP system and pass the paperwork to purchase ledger team

Put away stock to correct pick or storage locations and replenish stock from storage to picking areas
