The Registered Employee support payment is open to applicants from Friday 1 November to Friday 22 November 2024.
How to apply
The Registered Employee support payment provides financial support of a one-time payment of £250 to low earners who are not eligible for Income Support.

To complete the Registered Employee support payment form, you'll need your:

bank details
- social security number
- home address
You can ask someone to complete the form on your behalf if you're unable to do it yourself.

Eligibility for the payment
To qualify for the Registered Employee support payment, you need to:

be aged 18 or older
- have registered status and live in Jersey
- have been a Jersey resident for less than 5 years
- have a British or Jersey bank account in your name
- have not claimed Income Support within the last 7 days
- have contribution earnings declared in every month for July, August and September
- prove that your total earnings were below £7,000 for the months of July, August and September combined
Your application may be rejected if you don't meet the above criteria.
We also accept British Neobanks such as Revolut, Monzo and Starling.
After you’ve applied
Once you've completed your application, you'll receive a confirmation email letting you know that your application is being processed.
If your application is successful, you will receive a one-time payment of £250.
This payment is made on an individual basis and will be sent:

directly into your bank account
- within 2 weeks after Friday 22 November 2024
