You cannot recycle ink cartridges
Small amounts of ink cartridges can be dispose of:
- in your general household waste
- in the ink cartridges container at La Collette
- by your suppliers (only some suppliers)
If you work in an office their supplier may be able to dispose of your household ink cartridges.

Refills are significantly cheaper than buying a new cartridge, some printer companies offer this service.
Good to know
Most inks are now water-based and so printed paper can be disposed of in your home compost or with your paper recycling.
