About the consultation
Walking, cycling and using the bus are all forms of active travel.
In a recent survey, Trinity parishioners identified barriers to walking, cycling and bus use within the historic heart of the parish. To respond to these concerns, the Trinity Village Improvement Board have been working on potential improvement options for the local and Island wide community to consider with the aim of improving the parish for those who live and use the area, particularly for walking between facilities.
The Board supports active travel as part of the Island’s response to the climate emergency. Active travel can reduce car journeys, with their carbon and community traffic impacts, and provides health benefits from greater activity.
The purpose of this consultation is to explain our work to date, and illustrate the range of potential improvements, to gather your thoughts and preferences.
We will look at your feedback and it will inform the design.
