About the Jersey Safety Council
The Jersey
Safety Council is an independent body set up by the States of Jersey to promote
the safety and health of workers in the Island.
The council comprises a chairman, four other members and a part-time secretary.
The chairman
is appointed by the States’ Assembly on the recommendation of the minister for
Social Security, for a three year term of office.
The term of office of the
present chairman expires at the end of June 2016.
Applying for chairman of the council
Anybody who is interested in serving as chairman of the Jersey Safety Council and who are able
to demonstrate a professional interest in matters relating to health and safety,
are invited to put their name forward for consideration.
The chairman of the council is an entirely honorary position.

brief CV, should be submitted to:
