​​​About JerseyMe

JerseyMe is the Government of Jersey's digital ID solution that gives you safe and secure access to the Government's online services using a onegov account. You'll need a digital ID to access online services that require you to verify your identity, such as completing your tax return, changing your contact details, obtaining or renewing your registration card or obtaining a Covid Status certificate.

How to set up your JerseyMe

You can set up your JerseyMe by going to one.gov.je and clicking on the 'Choose a digital ID provider' link in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

What you'll need to set up your JerseyMe

To set up your JerseyMe ID, you'll need:

  • a valid passport
  • a mobile phone
  • a personal email address
  • a device that has a working camera and microphone

  • Monday to Friday (except Wednesday), 8.30am to 5.30pm

In person​​

​If you don't have a device with a camera or microphone or need additional support, you can visit the dedicated JerseyMe area in Broad Street Post Office. 

To set up your JerseyMe at the Broad Street Post Office, you'll need to take your valid passport and mobile phone with you.

Advisers are available to help you:​

Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5pm
Tuesday: 9am to 5pm
Saturday: 8.30am to 1pm

You don't need an appointment to use the drop in service at the Post Office.​

Jersey Me uses advanced encryption to keep personal details secure. This means we have put in place systems to stop third parties from accessing customer information, mine and sell their data to third parties or share any details without the customers approval.

All data is stored by the Government and is under its full control.
