Break down the annual salaries (before tax) earned by States-employed public sector workers, by sex and age and occupations, for the year 2015.

Response

For the purposes of this analysis, all staff salaries have been annualised to provide a full year, full time comparison and therefore are a snapshot at a point in time. In this instance it is 30 September 2016.

There were several issues when compiling this information for this request:

the States of Jersey HRIS (Human Resources Information System) does not have job families set up, so we are unable to provide a breakdown by occupation
figures provided are full-time equivalent (FTE)
figures are based on basic pay and include no additional costs (e.g. pension, shift, overtime).
