Response
The Scheduled Public Authority has determined that providing the information requested would exceed the cost limit provisions under Article 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 and it is therefore refused.
It is estimated that it would take in excess of 12.5 hours to collect the information as a review would have to be undertaken of every taxi driver's records, including anyone who had been a taxi driver over the last ten years.
Article 16
A scheduled public authority may refuse to supply information if cost excessive
(1) A scheduled public authority may refuse to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed any fee of an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations for the purposes of Article 15.
