I am unsure as to whether 'threats to harm' and 'threats to life' are categorised differently. If so:
The number of 'threats to harm' warnings issued in each of the following years:
2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 (to date)
What action is taken by the States police, or other relevant agencies, when a' threat to harm' is issued?
Have any of the Personal Safety Warnings or 'threats to harm' been issued to people the force would describe as people of public prominence?
What criteria, if any, must be met to issue a Osman Warning or 'threat to harm' ie how do the force decided whether to issue a warning or not?
Response
When the States of Jersey Police receive information that indicates there is a threat to the safety of an individual, the information will immediately be categorised by assessing the level of risk. The threat will be graded as low, medium or high.
A decision will be made by an officer of at least the rank of Inspector, whether to inform the intended victim based on the perceived level of threat. This will take the form of a Personal Safety Warning (PSW). This is an operational decision based on the actual threat made and the perceived ability for it to be carried out.
Below are the numbers for Personal Safety Warnings issued since 2011.

2012 | 15 |
