As at 22 February 2017, Jersey Fire and Rescue Service employ 100 firefighters.

The on the road cost of the most recently purchased fire appliance (Volvo chassis) was £197,370 in 2013. There are currently two similar replacement fire appliances on order at a committed cost of £199,042 each.

Specific costs for each callout / incident are not recorded. However, based purely on resource allocation, overtime and additional staff hours, the most expensive callout / incident during 2015 and 2016 related to a missing person search.

No States of Jersey emergency vehicles use duty free (red) diesel.
