I’m a third year Social Science student currently undertaking my dissertation at Highlands College. I have requested to view a number of files at Jersey Archive, but I have been told they require your permission to view. My subject requires some background on refugees in the island. The files are:
D/S/F2/10/10
D/S/F2/3/3A
What process would I need to go through to gain access?
Response
The files in question have been reviewed.
Both of these bundles contain personal information and as such are exempt under Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
The Jersey Customs & Immigration Service, who own the files, are therefore unable to allow access to these two files at this time.
