C
What was the nature of these complaints?
Response
A
The Health and Social Services Department does not hold data in this format and is therefore unable to provide a response to this specific question.
B
The total of all complaints (to include written feedback from all patients who stayed at Jury’s Inn during 2016) was 10.
C
Thematically these complaints could be grouped as follows:
- general concerns over food in particular around the repetition of menu and choice of dishes available for patients many of whom are resident there for six weeks at a time
- concerns over lack of home comforts for such a long period away from home and general lack of space provided to them by a conventional hotel room
- concerns over noise and disturbances from other guests (particularly around weekends)
