Communications Unit staffing and costs (FOI)

Could you please advise me:

A

How many staff are employed in the SOJ Communications unit?

B

How is that broken down in terms of full time / part time and so on?

C

The annual cost of this unit, including expenses, to the tax payer for the last three years?

A

The Communications Unit based within the Chief Minister’s Department has three staff members, two of whom are dedicated communications officers. In addition there is a Assistant Director for Ministerial Support and Communications, part of whose role covers communication matters.

B

Of the two dedicated members of staff, one is full-time and one is part-time.

C

The annual budget for the Communications Unit for 2015 and preceding years is recorded in the States Financial Report and Accounts.
