Private sector pay trends report (FOI)

​Request

I would like a copy of the full report into the private sector pay trends as compiled by Hassell Blampied. The report has been paid for by the public purse and been authorised by the company as being free for distribution by the States of Jersey, but is being refused to be sent out.

The Chief Ministers office is in possession of the document.

Response

The document requested is a commercial document and the terms of purchase do not allow for its publication. The Scheduled Public Authority are therefore applying Article 33 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

33 - Commercial interests

Information is qualified exempt information if –

(a) it constitutes a trade secret; or

(b) its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of a person (including the scheduled public authority holding the information).
