Compulsory purchase of Samares Nursery (FOI)

Can you please advise if compulsory purchase was used to buy the Samares Nursery site in St Clement.

Response

The information requested is not held by the States of Jersey. However, as far as the States of Jersey is aware no transactions have yet taken place in relation to the Samares Nursery site.

All property and land transactions, compulsory or otherwise, have to be registered by the Royal Court and upon completion become a matter of public record. Searches of the Public Registry may be undertaken for free by anyone attending at the Registry or alternatively searches may be made by Public Registry staff for a charge.
