Could you please provide a month by month breakdown of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests since Jan 2015, broken down into number of requests from individuals, organisations and journalists / media outlets. Also, would you please be able to provide an anonymised breakdown of the top ten FOI requesters for the calendar years of 2015, 2016 and to date. Only naming them by category.

Freedom of Information data and statistics

The requester type is determined using personal information provided by the requester and is intended to provide a broad indication of the trend in types of requester only and cannot be precise.

Although it is small, there is a risk that where very small numbers are involved, a jigsaw identification of requesters could be possible for a given month by linking the requester type with a request and response on the log on the States of Jersey website. For this reason we have grouped categories (as in the table below) for the purpose of answering this question.

The table below provides a breakdown of the top ten requesters, anonymised and presented as categories per year.
