Response
The States of Jersey Social Security Department hold information regarding medicines dispensed in the community by GPs in Jersey. At this time we are able to make a partial release of data and have provided BNF chapter for May 2017. A partial release is deemed necessary considering the nature of primary care in Jersey and the risk of inadvertently releasing personal or commercially sensitive data.

Having researched the background to release of similar information in the UK, Jersey would wish to conduct a full Data Protection Impact Assessment to understand the potential impacts in a small community.
