I am interested in the breakdown of the ages of Listed Buildings in Jersey.
Please could you provide the numbers of Listed properties that fall into the following age brackets:
pre 1900
1900 to 1939
1939 to 1945
1946 to 1970
1970 to date
Response
The Department does not hold its Listed building data in the form you have requested. Listed building data is held by Thematic Building type (ie: Retail Building, Maritime Structure, Education Building etc.).
The Department estimate that it will take in excess of 12.5 working hours to retrieve and extract the data in the form that you have requested. The request, therefore, will not be processed further.
Regulation 2 (1) of the Freedom of Information (Costs) (Jersey) Regulations 2014 allows an authority to refuse a request for information where the estimated cost of dealing with the request would exceed the specified amount of the cost limit of £500. This is the estimated cost of one person spending 12.5 working hours in determining whether the department holds the information, locating, retrieving and extracting the information.

(1) A scheduled public authority that has been requested to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations.
