I would like to know how many people have qualified as 'Entitled' to buy, rent or lease property since 2006, as they have lived in Jersey for the requisite 10 years?
I would also like to know what percentage of these people have automatically been housed in Social Housing under the States of Jersey Housing Gateway Scheme?
Response
Statistics are not maintained on the number of people who have been granted Entitled status based on 10 years continuous residence in Jersey since 2006.
Since October 2015, statistics have been published which show the number of registration cards issued each quarter, broken down by residential and employment status. This data however includes cards issued to people who gained Entitled status prior to 2006, and who have gained Entitled status under the hardship provision having completed less than 10 years residence. These can be found in the following link.
