I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011, to request the following information from your Pharmacy & Information Management and Technology (IM&T) department. This inquiry relates to your ePMA system (electronic prescribing and medicines administration).
A
Does your Trust already use an ePMA system for medicines management?
B
If yes, is this part of an electronic patient record (EPR) system and if so, what EPR do you use?
C
If yes, but the solution is not part of an EPR, (eg the Trust uses a stand-alone system) can you please indicate the name of the supplier and product. Can you also detail the contract expiry date?
D
If no, can you indicate if this is something you may consider procuring in the next two years? If not, is there a reason why the Trust would not procure an ePMA (be this new or a replacement)
E
Could you please give me the name / title and contact details of the Trust employee who is responsible for your ePMA and / or medicines management process?
Response
A
No.
B and C
Not applicable as answer to question 'A' is no.
D
Yes. It is something we are considering procuring in the next two years.
