I wish to make an FOI request in relation to the recent decision re funding for higher education and the consultation process that was undertaken. Could you provide answers to the following queries;
A
How many respondents actually stated the proposal was too generous and should not help very high income families? How many respondents said it was fair? Please provide this information as a percentage.
B
How many respondents actually stated the £150,000 threshold for a reduced grant was too high? How many stated it was fair? Please provide this information as a percentage.
C
How many parents actually stated they were concerned about funding and whether income tax would rise to pay for the scheme? Please provide this information as a percentage.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.
(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
