Request

Please can you give me the details of how many people have qualified through the Jersey Graduate Teacher Training Programme, for the years 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017?

Can you also show how many were for;

a) Primary and secondary

b) For the secondary, the numbers for each subject (eg Maths, English and so on)

Please note that the Jersey Graduate Teacher programme does not run for Primary teachers.

It has not been possible to provide the breakdown by subject as the small numbers may result in the identification of individuals and this is therefore absolutely exempt under Article 25 of the Freedom Of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

Graduates were trained as specialists in the following areas;

  • Maths

  • English

  • Science (Chemistry)

  • Science (Physics)

  • Science (Biology)
