Please supply the total number of States of Jersey employees who, since 1 January 2018 have either been dismissed, resigned or left for other reasons (please specify).

Between January 2018 and May 2018, a total of 259 staff have left the organisation.

Excluded from this total are fewer than 10 staff who have left due to being dismissed or resigning prior to formal action being taken against them in a disciplinary action. Disclosure control has been applied to the data in order to protect the identity of individual employees, further to the requirements of Article 25 (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.
(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –
(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and
(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
