Could you please declare the financial benefits gained by the people of Jersey in compensations. (£)

Could you please also declare the detailed covenants (if any) or the clauses in sale contract in reference to protect the drainage rights and the event of a seawall breach.

Could you please confirm that the new owner/developer has had to/ or has not had to insure that area of the seawall in the event of a breach.

The Public of the Island received £10,000 from this sale of rights transaction regarding the sea wall at the former ‘Zanzibar’ in St Brelade’s Bay.

The relevant contract was passed by the Royal Court on 29 September 2017.

The seawall at the former “Zanzibar” in St Brelade’s Bay comes under the public’s insurance policy, as do all publicly owned seawalls.
