Senator Steve Pallett recently stated that there are ‘huge economic benefits’ associated with having a professional rugby side.
I would be grateful if I could receive information relating to the total amount of funding and any other benefits the States of Jersey provides to the Jersey Rugby Club (split per year for the past three years) as well as a monetary quantification of the related annual 'economic benefit' (as claimed by the Senator) aligned to each of the three years.

Amounts paid to Jersey Rugby Football Club (JFRC) and the Jersey Rugby Association (JRA) by the Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture Department have been detailed in the table below:

Amounts paid to the JRA were made further to commercial sponsorship agreements.
