I would be obliged if you could inform me how much money was paid out in the form of Income Support subsidies during the period from 1 January 2017 until 1 January 2018.
A "ballpark" figure will suffice.

The information you have requested is already published in the Social Security Department Minister’s report 2017.
The figure spent on income support for 2017 was just under £69 million. This information is found on page 46 of the report.

Article 23 Information accessible to applicant by other means
(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.
(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
