Request
I would like to request the following in relation to the samples taken of edible products recently sent away for PFOS sampling (which came back negative):
A
A list of the products that were sent.
B
Where on the Island did these products grown?
C
Currently PFOS is detected mostly around the airport. Will the states (government) be growing food eg Potatoes where PFOS is in its highest concentration to determine if the PFOS seeps into said food. (A field or farm that is known to contain PFOS).
D
Will the Government be watering food with contaminated (PFOS) water to determine if the food can absorb PFOS.
This is of public interest as the current samples sent away could have been grown in St. Martins in a greenhouse watered with mains water.
