Please provide the amount of serving States of Jersey Police (SOJP) Police officers at the commencement of Kristina Moore’s time as Home Affairs minister and also that at the end of her term.

Please also include the decline of States Police officer numbers from the year 2000 to date.

Response

The then Deputy (now Senator) Moore was Home Affairs Minister from November 2014 to June 2018. The number of Police Officers as at 1 June 2019 was 191. Officer numbers from 2014 to 2018 are already publicly available through a similar Freedom of Information request which can be viewed at the following link:

Certain States of Jersey Police Annual Reports provide officer numbers for some years from 2000 to 2013, and they are already publicly available at the following link:

Where the relevant Annual Report does not state the officer numbers, the information is not held.
