Request
I have two traffic related questions regarding the Gunsite cafe car park. The attachment illustrates these questions a little better.

A
Please can you advise how many accidents have been reported in the area highlighted in yellow in the attachment over the last five, 10 and 15 years or whatever you can provide.
B
Also please can you advise when the signs telling cyclists to dismount were removed from the area? They were previously at either side of the car park as you enter from the cycle path.
Response
A
The States of Jersey Police moved to recording incidents electronically in 2004. Their records show that there have been no reported road traffic collisions in the yellow highlighted area of the map from 2004 to date.

Growth Housing and Environment (GHE) hold details of two recorded collisions (2010 and 2012) in the wider area, but the exact position is unknown.
B
GHE have checked their records and are unable to ascertain when signs asking cyclists to dismount were removed from the area. However we have been able to ascertain from images of the area taken in 2010 that the signs were not in place at that time.
