Please can you confirm the average length patients have to wait between being referred and having their first appointment at the pain clinic? Please can you confirm this information for both public and private patients?

Response

In the 12-month period to the end of November 2019, the average length of time between referral and first outpatient appointment in Pain Management was:

  • public patients: 10 weeks

  • private patients: 9 weeks
