Please can you give me the following details regarding the Nightingale Hospital in Jersey:

How much has it cost to date? Please break down this figure into categories of expense.

How much is being spent on security for the facility? Please can you break down the costs of security into categories like staffing and so on.

Who is providing the security for the Nightingale Hospital?

How much has been allocated for ongoing cost of security and how long will this provide security for the facility?

Has the cost of security been included in the original £14.4m estimate of the Nightingale Hospital cost?

Has maintenance and other issues like flooding and weather damage been included in the £14.4m estimate of the Nightingale Hospital cost?

If not, how is unplanned issues with the Nightingale Hospital being financed and budgeted?

Health and Community Services (HCS) have spent £121,788 to the end June 2020 that includes all staffing costs. No further breakdown is held.

Funding has been allocated to HCS to the end of July 2020. A business case is currently being written to extend the period of the Jersey Nightingale Wing to March 2021 – contained within this are costs for security provided by G4S. The exact amounts are deemed commercially sensitive and are exempt under Article 33 (Commercial Interests) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

No. The original £14.4m was allocated for set up costs for Growth Housing and Environment. Ongoing operational costs sit with HCS.

No. This forms part of the HCS operational costs if not covered by the warranty offered by the provider of the building.

Costs are allocated within HCS operational plan for unplanned activities.
