Money sent to Jersey by the UK Government (FOI)

I would like to know how much money is being sent to Jersey and the rest of the Channel Islands by the U.K government, or how much is being sent to being sent to the U.K by Jersey or the Channel Islands.

The Government of Jersey does not hold information of how much money is paid to local companies and private individuals from the UK nor sent from Jersey to the UK.

In respect of payments between UK and Jersey Governments, as information is not held centrally and following reviews undertaken across Government of Jersey departments it has been estimated that to collate the data held would take in excess of the time allowance applied under the Freedom of Information (Costs) (Jersey) Regulations 2014.

(1) A scheduled public authority that has been requested to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations.

Regulation 2 (1) of the Freedom of Information (Costs) (Jersey) Regulations 2014 allows an authority to refuse a request for information where the estimated cost of dealing with the request would exceed the specified amount of the cost limit of £500. This is the estimated cost of one person spending 12.5 working hours in determining whether the department holds the information, locating, retrieving and extracting the information.
