I would like to have details of any correspondence, records or documents concerning parachuting or skydiving in Jersey produced or received in 2020. The relevant departments are Economic development, Tourism, Sport and Culture and External Relations
Response
Under the terms of the Civil Aviation (Jersey) Law 2008 the release of correspondence falling within the requested parameters is prohibited, therefore Article 29 (Other prohibitions or restrictions) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies to this request.

Information is absolutely exempt information if the disclosure of the information by the scheduled public authority holding it –
(a) is prohibited by or under an enactment;
(b) is incompatible with a European Union or an international obligation that applies to Jersey; or
(c) would constitute or be punishable as a contempt of court.
Internal Review Request
I request an internal review of the decision to refuse disclosure under Article 29.
Internal Review Response
This review has been completed by two senior members of the Government of Jersey, independent of the original decision making process.
The original response has been reviewed and assessed to identify whether the application of the exemption had been applied correctly.
The reviewers considered that the application of the Article 29 exemption was appropriate and should be upheld.
To assist the requester, it was felt appropriate to advise that Article 20 of the Civil Aviation (Jersey) Law 2008 is the relevant article which prohibits the release of the information and therefore Article 29 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law was applied.
