Where possible please can you provide the following information:

Operation Duke: To date a breakdown of ALL costs of the investigation including appeal, retrial, flights of professionals as witnesses, court costs and so on.

The cost of keeping the prisoner at HMP La Moye to date.

Operation Duke: A retrial was ordered by the Court of Appeal, but Social Media reported the reason for a retrial was due to irregularities in the original trial. What were the irregularities and why wasn't it published?
Is a retrial, especially in this case, in Jersey a fair one as the original trial was reported on all Social Media sites including National newspapers.
How many retrials have there been in Jersey? If there has been what were they for and how was it conducted?

How many staff and prisoners at HMP La Moye have had / has Coronavirus to date?

Do prisoners get the £100 spend local card where they can use it to support the local businesses if products are bought locally, for the prisoners to purchase items. For example, food, toiletries and so on.

The court ordered that the reasons for the retrial could not be published. This court order is still in place.
The requestor is asking if the trial can be fair if held in Jersey. This is a request for an opinion, not information that is held and therefore not subject to the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

All staff have been screened as essential staff and to date eight staff have tested positive (two PCR and six Antibody through the employee screening programme). None of these staff were symptomatic while working at the prison, and observed the full quarantine after their positive results before resuming duties. In addition, and adhering to protocol, staff having been off island will have been tested; all returned negative.
To date eight prisoners have been tested, two due to showing symptoms – all returned a negative result.

Prisoners are not entitled to the £100 spend local cards while they remain in custody. Prisoners that were released from HMP La Moye after 23 August 2020 were able to apply up until 30 September 2020. Those prisoners that are released after 30 September 2020 are not eligible for a card.
