The number of needle chest decompressions undertaken by your Ambulance service (or partner agencies on behalf of your services eg basics or HEMS) for the last three years.

By the term "basic" and the acronym "HEMS" I am referring to the British Association for Immediate Care (volunteer responder service in the UK) and Helicopter Emergency Medical Service.

The number of thoracostomies undertaken by your Ambulance Service (or partner agencies as above) for the last three years.

C

Number and clinical grade of staff trained to perform thoracostomy within your Ambulance Service.

D

What grades of clinician are able to perform intubation within your Ambulance Service.

E

Success rates of thoracostomy and needle chest decompression divided by clinician grade (eg Paramedic, Critical Care Paramedic, doctor and so on).

F

Average response time of a critical care / thoracostomy capable resource.

G

Patient outcome from thoracostomy and needle chest decompression (eg PLE/ROLE on scene, survival to hospital, survival to discharge).

By the acronym PLE / ROLE I am referring to Pronounced Life Extinct / Recognition Of Life Extinct.
