Have been temporarily withdrawn for Covid-19 related (or any other) reasons. And if so the terms involved.

Are currently suspended for driver disciplinary reasons.

Whether any delay to the intended conversion of all remaining White and Yellow Taxi-Cab plates to Purple Plates by 31 March 2021 has been authorised by DVS or the Minister. And if so the terms involved, including whether any other delay or concession between those who already operate on a Purple Plate with second tariff as part of a DVS Recognised Cab Firm and those who have not.

The following table details the number of Plate holders who have informed DVS that they are not actively working in the industry as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The terms set with the individuals are on a case by case basis and vary dependant on the circumstance.

The information you have requested regarding the conversion to purple plates is exempt under Article 36 (future publication) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011. This information will be published soon on www.gov.je in the Ministerial report that will accompany the pending Ministerial Decision to implement the single tier taxi system.

(1) Information is qualified exempt information if, at the time when the request for the information is made, the information is being held by a public authority with a view to its being published within 12 weeks of the date of the request.
(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant –
(a) of the date when the information will be published;
