As at 21 January 2015, 11 prisoners are serving their sentences in the UK.
B.
5 prisoners are serving sentences for violent offences; sentences range from life imprisonment to 4 Years. 6 prisoners are serving sentences for drug related offences; sentences range from 23 years to 4 years, 9 months. Start dates range from 2004 to 2013.
[We are] unable to provide finish dates. Each prisoner’s circumstances may differ, some may be returned to Jersey to finish their sentences, others may complete their sentences in the UK and will be discharged from a UK prison.

Financial accounts for 2014 have yet to be finalised. However, we can confirm that the States of Jersey Prison Service is currently paying for 2 prisoners in the UK at a total cost of £275.40 per day. Previous years costs are published in the Annual Report.

Previous years accounts are published in the Annual Report and for 2013 will show that it cost £184 per day to keep a prisoner at HMP La Moye.
