GST charged on imported vehicles by Licenced Workers (FOI)

Please can you advise how many licenced workers from the United Kingdom have been charged GST within the first year of importing their vehicle to their new place of residence in Jersey and the total amount of revenue received by the Customs department for this.

Response

There is no requirement for Jersey Customs and Immigration Service or Driving and Vehicle Standards to record whether people importing vehicles into Jersey are licenced workers.

As such we cannot provide an answer to the question.
