Could I please have the following information:

A

The number of people who have been reported missing to this force during the calendar year of 2017 to 2020?

The number of people who were reported missing who were then found during the calendar year of 2017 to 2020?

Can this be broken down by gender and ethnicity?

Can this please be broken down by each age range 0-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70 and 71 plus?

The number of people who have been reported missing to this force during the lockdown period from March 2020 to September 2020?

Can this be broken down by gender and ethnicity?

Can this please be broken down by each age range 0-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70 and 71 plus?

Response

The information requested is in the attached spreadsheet. Whilst the totals are the same as a previous release in June, the data around ethnicity has been reviewed and, in some cases, amended.

Missing Persons March to September 2020

Of the total 3233 persons reported missing over the three years requested, all have been located. None are still missing.

2916 of these missing persons (90%) were in the age group 11-20 years.
