A horticultural business called Vanguard Nurseries previously occupied a 14 vergee site on Rue de la Retraite, St Saviour. That site is now occupied by one of Jersey's largest houses with extensive gardens. I wish to receive all relevant information that would explain why it was considered appropriate to grant planning permission for one single very large dwelling, as opposed to around 30 more modest family homes which would have gone some way to ease the housing crisis

“Insufficient information has been submitted to outweigh the general policy presumption against new development in the Countryside Zone in compliance with the requirements of Policies C6 and C20 of the Adopted Island Plan 2002. Accordingly, the proposed development is contrary to the aforementioned policies”.
