About voluntary redundancy, severance and early retirement for States employees

B. and C.

Exit payments are not confined to a particular pay group or grade. Therefore, all employees might be eligible in specific circumstances such as redundancy.

Contractually, the provision of exit payments is ultimately a matter for the employer.

E.

The levels of such payments are appended to policies (as amended from time to time).

By way of example, the terms of the voluntary release schemes are presently calculated at three weeks' pay per year of completed continuous service. This is presently capped at 18 months' pay and at grade CS15/3.
