Request
Can I please request the following information?
A
How much wine and alcohol does the Government of Jersey store or hold for functions and events?
B
What is the true current market value of the above?
C
How much of the above is held at the Royal Court and the true current market value?
Response
A
The response has been provided by each of the Government departments that are Scheduled Public Authorities (SPAs) under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011. Records show that 159 bottles are currently held. Please note this does not include Highlands restaurant as their alcohol purchases and stock are to run as a restaurant for training chefs and serving staff so not for functions and events.
B
The information requested is not held. To provide an answer to this question would require the creation of new information. A Scheduled Public Authority is not required to manipulate or create new data sets for Freedom of Information requests. Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
C
Information is not held by the Government of Jersey. Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies. The information would be held by the Bailiff’s Chambers which is not a scheduled public authority under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
