Request
How many assessments by the Children's Service since 2018 have directly contradicted Jersey Paediatricians' evidence?
Response
To determine whether information is held about whether an assessment by Children's Social Care has contradicted a Jersey Paediatrician would require a manual search of each child's individual file since 2018. Article 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has therefore been applied. It is estimated that the cost in doing so would exceed the cost limit provisions set out in the Freedom of Information (Costs) (Jersey) Regulations 2014.
Article Applied
Article 16 – A scheduled public authority may refuse to supply information if cost excessive
(1) A scheduled public authority that has been requested to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations.
