Request
Following up from request: Co-Funded Payroll Scheme (FOI)
With regards to the Co Funding reclaims, we are informed "There has been no acknowledgement of a government error as all claims have been processed based on the guidance below " (linked to updated guidance).
There is a public perception, and discussed on the "Small Business in Jersey" Facebook page, that somewhere along the line, Gov changed the guidance given to claimants. Claimants who believe they made legitimate claims say there was a point at which the Government advice changed. If this is true, then claims made with the original information provided, were correct at the time the claim was made.
Do Government accept that they changed the wording, and that claims made before this change were correct, according to the guidance given?
