As at the 5 October 2022, waiting times for mental health services are as attached (number of people waiting by time period)

The waiting times for our specialist services (Autism, ADHD and Memory Assessment) are well recognised, reported, and monitored on a monthly basis. Recovery plans are being implemented and reviewed for these services.

Health and Community Services (HCS) does not hold this information centrally. In order to establish that a person has successfully completed suicide, there is usually an inquest which will determine the cause of death. Having reviewed the known cases of suicide for the period requested, HCS has identified that only one person was awaiting a first assessment (i.e. had been referred to mental health services and was awaiting a face to face assessment for psychological therapy).
